And We Danced

What a week! NATO Missile Firing Installation, celebrating a NATO base’s birthday, two dance festivals, a week’s worth of course work and so much more in between.  I’m really enjoying the different locations we have gone to see. The dance festival at the institute the other night was so fun. Learning the Greek dance was an interesting experience, but became even more interesting when Kapsomenos showed us up. I wouldn't have taken him to be a dancer before that. Even the event last evening up in the mountain was cool. It was nice to see the larger community join together for a celebration and to be able to join them. Even today going to the ruins where the Minotaur is believed to be was unique to see. Can’t say I’ll comment on the bus rides both there and back, but we made it! Can’t wait to see what the rest of this trip has to bring us.

Learning the Greek Dance!

Looking down to Chania!
